A vision for inspiring architecture defines Solterra

“It is only through laser focus and a clear vision that a team can accomplish achievements that win awards and accolades over and over again. From its beginnings 15 years ago, that has been Solterra Group of Companies' core philosophy.”

It’s that commitment and drive that has garnered the Solterra Group of Companies more than 50 combined national and provincial industry kudos, including 14 Gold Georgie Awards.

By building and creating innovative and intelligently designed homes across the Lower Mainland and outlying areas, Solterra has branded itself as a builder, that at its core, likes to challenge itself – showcasing the most distinctive and artistic design throughout its projects.

“We position ourselves as a company that builds a smaller number of developments annually, between three or four a year,” says Solterra’s Laura Rizzo, vice president of marketing. “We choose very carefully what neighbourhood and what products we want to put our name on ... we are not a factory style company.”

Solterra’s decision on where and what to build is influenced by its commitment to building high-quality homes while challenging themselves to create something new each and every time — its trademark philosophy is never to duplicate what’s been done before.

At the same time, Solterra builds projects designed to compliment and enhance the surrounding homes. “For instance, we may add an urban mix to a traditional neighbourhood or vice versa; always careful not to differ too much, but rather add a complementing and unique twist to the community’s architecture and feel,” adds Laura.
